The Meowdoku solver that actually explains the answer
Meowdoku shuffles the board every game, so a fixed “Level 50 answer” rarely matches yours. Paint the exact board you see — or generate a fresh one — and get the solution with a logic walkthrough that teaches you to solve the next one yourself.
How to play Meowdoku
One cat per region
Every colored region holds exactly one cat — no more, no less.
One per row & column
Like Sudoku: each row and each column contains exactly one cat.
Cats can't touch
No two cats may sit next to each other — not even diagonally.
Deduce, never guess
Every puzzle is solvable by logic. Mark impossible cells, then find the square only one cat can occupy.
Pro tip: the moment you place a cat, mentally cross out its whole row, column, region, and all eight touching squares. Hard boards crack open as soon as one region, row, or column is left with a single legal square.
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't the Level 50 answer I found online match my board?
Meowdoku generates a fresh board layout for most games, so a fixed screenshot of 'Level 50' usually won't match the exact board you're looking at. That's why this tool lets you paint your own board and solve that specific layout.
How do you solve a Meowdoku puzzle without guessing?
Place one cat in every row, column, and colored region, and never let two cats touch. After each placement, cross out its row, column, region, and all eight neighboring squares. A cat is forced whenever a region, row, or column has only one legal square left.
Is this the official Meowdoku site?
No. This is an independent, fan-made solver and guide. It is not affiliated with the game's developer.
